Easy Party Decorations for Elaborate Birthday Ideas

I often get comments on the birthday parties I throw for my kids, the ones that look so elaborate and full of detailed party decorations but are actually fairly easy to put together.

Today I'm letting you in on my secret: I actually have a very simple formula for it and you too can throw those pro looking parties without losing your mind in the attempt.
High impact, low effort.
My trick is to spend a little time on things that will yield high impact but are actually pretty easy to achieve.
Here's the formula: backdrop + balloons + table details = pro looking decor
I've gone through many birthday themes over the years but the formula has pretty much stayed the same.
Some of my favorite backdrops include fringe garlands, crepe streamers, tinsel curtains, and bulletin board paper, and even ready made themed backdrops. This masking tape is my bff when it comes to hanging them to the walls without damaging the paint, because the adhesive on the back of foil garlands, fringe curtains, etc will often ruin your wall paint and we want to avoid that!!

Up next: balloons.
A pack of balloons is pretty inexpensive, you can simply stick them to the wall making fun patterns, or pair them with a balloon arch strip and you'll have an easy to make balloon garland without breaking the bank!
Tips: I would HIGHLY suggest investing in an electric balloon pump, it will allow you to inflate a ton of balloons in minutes.
To make a garland, I simply slip the balloon knots in the holes of the balloon strip alternating colors and balloon sizes. Can you believe I've reused the exact same balloon strip for the last 7+ years?
I use these hooks to hang my garlands and they end up looking like this.

Finally, the finishing touches: Table details
This is the time to have fun with your theme and find anything that will help tie everything together. Something that I love to do is print water bottle labels that I either make myself or buy a ready made design from Etsy. Even paper with the party theme colors would work. The idea here is to have pops of color and theme references on the table.
Colorful snacks and napkins, figurines, themed goodie bags etc. The sky is the limit with this!

Now you're ready to throw fabulous parties every single time!

Love,
