Can you believe this terracotta pumpkin decor is a dollar store craft?
I'm always drawn to the imperfect pumpkins, the ones with character. I spotted this styrofoam one at the dollar store and immediately threw it in my cart.

The first thing I did was remove the plastic stem that came with it and gave it a couple coats of this terracotta paint from the craft store.
I also used a mix of white paint and water to white wash the pumpkin "veins" and blotted the paint with a paper towel as I went.
I had recently trimmed a tree in my backyard and I chopped one of the small branches to get the new "stem".
I attached it with hot glue and this is how it turned out! So cute!
